Pending legal review
This document is a working draft and is pending legal review. The final version will be published before general availability. If you are evaluating Virtu and need a current draft for diligence, contact legal@virturx.io.
Virtu is committed to making the patient portal, partner portal, and public marketing site usable by people with the widest range of abilities. We target conformance with the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level.
What we have built so far
- Keyboard-only navigation across all interactive elements; visible focus rings.
- Compatibility with current versions of the major screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
- Color and text contrast targets that meet WCAG 2.1 AA across light and dark themes.
- Captions on instructional and marketing video content; alt text on meaningful images.
- Form fields labeled with accessible names; error states that are announced, not color-only.
Report a barrier
If you encounter a part of Virtu that is hard to use because of a disability, please tell us. We treat accessibility issues as defects and prioritize them accordingly. Email accessibility@virturx.io with a description of what you were trying to do, the page or screen, and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days.
