How we substantiate outcome claims.

Five steps stand between an internal idea and a sentence the public sees on a Virtu page. Pending and rejected claims never reach a public surface.

   Source

   Every candidate claim must cite a peer-reviewed study, an FDA label, an internal anonymized data set, or a published clinical guideline before it enters review.

   Reviewer

   A clinical reviewer evaluates whether the proposed wording is supported by the cited evidence and is appropriate for a public marketing surface.

   Approval

   Approved claims are written to ClaimReview with status='approved'. Reviewer identity, evidence links, and effective dates are persisted in the audit trail.

   Expiry

   Approved claims default to a 90-day expiration. After that they fall off every public surface automatically — no human deletion required.

   Re-review

   Before an expired claim can render publicly again, an admin must re-attach current evidence and pass a fresh review. Re-publishes are logged like new approvals.

We accept four evidence types and reject anything else. We never publish a claim backed only by a press release, a vendor brochure, or unverified anecdote.

Peer-reviewed studies

Used for clinical efficacy and safety language. We require a citable journal, a date of access, and a stable URL or DOI.

FDA labels

Used for indication, contraindication, and on-label dosage language. We never paraphrase a label in a way that would extend its scope.

Internal anonymized data

Used for operational claims like turnaround time and refund timing. Backed by aggregated, PHI-free metrics from our own platform.

Clinical guidelines

Used for protocol language. We cite the issuing body, version, and effective date so a reader can verify the source.

Counts only — no patient or provider data is reflected on this page. Numbers update as the governance workflow runs.

Claims default to a 90-day expiry. After that date the row stops rendering publicly even if the underlying page is still cached. Re-publish requires a fresh reviewer approval and a refreshed evidence link.
